Ottawa, Canada, April 13, 2011 - Precidia Technologies Inc., a global leader in the design and manufacture of Internet Protocol (IP) payment and networking products, announced today that its POSLynx220 with TransNet integrated payment solution has achieved Level 2 certification from leading global payments provider Elavon. This advanced certification means that merchants using Precidia's TransNet payment application can cost effectively and securely process mail order/telephone order (MOTO) and e-commerce transactions, and can transmit CVV card data.
The TransNet payment engine application, housed on Precidia's secure POSLynx220 payment router, integrates seamlessly with ECRs, POS systems and other retail payment systems. Pre-certified with most credit, debit, gift and loyalty card processors, the complete solution is PCI PA-DSS validated, and features SSL encryption for additional peace of mind. For enhanced reliability, the POSLynx220 features automatic dial back-up in case of network failure.
In addition to processing fully integrated card transactions, the TransNet/POSLynx220 solution also features a web-based management suite that minimizes deployment and support costs. This suite includes the NetVu management server, designed to facilitate 24/7 support of the merchant, and MerchantVu, which is a store-level portal for settlement, suspicious transaction alerts and data analysis.
"This popular integrated payment solution has been class-B certified with Elavon for several years", said Tom Kelly, senior vice president, Solutions Engineering at Elavon. "We strive to ensure our merchants have access to a range of payment technologies, and this enhanced certification contributes to that goal".
Deepak Wanner, president of Precidia Technologies Inc. believes this advanced level of processor certification helps merchants reduce their overall transaction processing costs: "In helping to reduce merchant's costs, the Level 2 certification from Elavon makes good sense to merchants who wish to process card not present transactions".
