Precidia's EtherDial™ and CellDial™ products receive Class B Certification

Ottawa, Canada, November 18, 2003 - Precidia Technologies announced today that it has received certification for its EtherDial™ and CellDial™ products on Retail, Restaurant and Lodging applications and terminals with Global Payments Inc. (NYSE:GPN), a leading provider of electronic payment card and check processing solutions.

The proven EtherDial and CellDial IP Access products connect existing dial-based terminals to IP networks via Ethernet or an 'always on' digital wireless connection. The products help merchants in the Retail, Restaurant and Lodging industries to reduce communication costs with the elimination of a dedicated telephone line for transaction processing.

Deepak Wanner, president of Precidia Technologies believes this milestone will bring merchants one step closer to achieving faster, more cost effective transaction processing. "In today's highly competitive retail environment, this solution provides merchants with yet another tool to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce costs. Working with Global Payments has allowed us to provide this solution to a broader group of merchants."

"Global Payments is pleased to offer payment card processing solutions to customers of Precidia Technologies," said Director of Product Integration, Jill E. Gapper. "We work with many POS application providers and are pleased to add Precidia's EtherDial and CellDial to our list of certified products," she added.
