Connecting serial equipment to a Mitel IP PBX
By connecting the iPocket232, Ether232Duo or Ether232Plus to one of the PBX's Ethernet interfaces, the RS232 ports on the Precidia device becomes available for a PMS or other activities that require a serial interface. |

IP Network Connectivity
Users of serial-based Mitel PBX systems can connect the iPocket232, Ether232Duo or Ether232Plus to one of the PBX's serial ports, leaving the device's Ethernet port available to connect to the LAN/WAN. The user can now remotely update, troubleshoot and monitor the PBX from a local PC on the LAN/WAN in real-time. |

Secure Access to an IP PBX
The EtherCell allows a cell phone or dial modem to communicate with an IP PBX over an external network, for administrative or other tasks. It is ideal for allowing access to the PBX outside of a LAN, without any access to the rest of the network. The EtherCell acts as a gateway for access to only one IP PBX via digital wireless or other network type. |
