| The IP232 is the ideal solution for real-time access to any stand-alone RS232 serial device which is not currently connected to a LAN or WAN. While other solutions have an Ethernet interface for connection to a LAN or WAN, the IP232 offers cost effective access to IP networks for those currently using dial. The IP232 remotely manages and acquires data from serial devices across a PPP dial connection. It calls your ISP, is authenticated, and establishes a connection. It receives and converts serial data to IP packets, sending them to the Internet or private IP/VPN. |
