Precidia’s payment middleware has been flexibly designed to operate on a range of hardware platforms. For single lanes with low end ECRs and no requirement for dial back-up, the POSLynxMINI is the ideal platform. This compact adapter offers a single RS232 port and Ethernet. For multiple lanes, the POSLynxDUO is ideal, with 2 serial ports, 2 Ethernet, and one USB, as well as full security and automatic dial back-up. The POSLynxMAX offers all the features and functionality of the multiport POSLynx220, with extra memory.

Precidia’s approach to payments is unique. TransNet is the first payment middleware to leverage a secure, fully managed hardware platform to enhance cardholder data security. By housing the application on a secure appliance, rather than the POS device or PC itself, payment data is protected by the hardware ‘fortress’. In addition, the use of payment hardware can help integrate multiple peripherals, such as pinpads, check readers and magstripe readers.
