Precidia's networking devices provide network connectivity for existing serial or dial based devices in c-stores. By networking a tank monitor such as the Veeder Root S350, operators can access data on inventory levels from a local PC. Once networked, tank monitors can also be set up for remote access by fuel distributors, making delivery schedules more efficient.
The iPocket232 is a compact, single port RS232 to ethernet adapter. Connecting to the tank monitor via its serial port, the iPocket232 is a low cost solution to networking tank monitors. The iPocket232 is unobtrusive and can be wall mounted for convenience. For stores with multiple devices to connect, including ATMs or Ruby terminals, a tank monitor can be networked using the multiport POSLynx220. The POSLynx220 is a payment router, featuring 2 dial and 2 serial ports.

Precidia's adapters and payment routers are actively managed by the NetVu management server. The benefits of NetVu begin with deployment. When plugged in, the Precidia device 'calls home' to NetVu and downloads its configuration, making installation plug and play for the operator or technical support staff. Once installed, NetVu monitors both the network and activities on the device, offering helpful tools to the operator such as pager alerts for network failure or power outages.
